Wine Review: This pale ruby colored Pinot Noir from Frank Family opens with a wild blueberry and black cherry bouquet with a hint of red licorice and boysenberry. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth and has nice palate coverage. The flavor profile is flavor profile is a tasty gentle oak influenced blackberry with notes of pomegranate, stewed black plum and cinnamon. We also picked up a hint of black pepper. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for quite a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot with grilled salmon. Enjoy – KWGTP
