Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Frank Family opens with an iron shavings and craisin bouquet with hints of cedar and iodine. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright, fresh, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is stony minerality and stewed black plum blend with notes of craisin and tobacco. I also detected hints of oolong tea, bay leaf, and red currant. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate tannins drifts away nicely. I would pair this Cab with Sheri's Italian sausage stuffed mushrooms. Enjoy - Ken
