Wine Review: This clear and pale white gold colored Chardonnay from Frank Family opens with a mild pineapple and green apple bouquet with hints of orange zest, crème brulee, and warm brioche. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, supple, and fresh. The flavor profile is a tasty cantaloupe and gentle pineapple blend with notes of almond and butter. We also detected hints of oak, lime, green tea, and some minerality. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are also nicely balanced and extended on the finish. We would pair this Chard with a chilled crab cocktail. Enjoy - KWGTP
