Wine Review: This fun, slightly effervescent Riesling from Southern Australia is a pale straw color, with a bouquet of apricot, wet slate, roses, light ash and honeydew melon aromas. On the palate it is clean and slightly fizzy, which is a nice balance to the slightly off-dry, moderately acidic, medium-minus body. Round and easy drinking, you will reach for a second glass soon. There are flavors of white peach, wet stone, green melon, and a hint of ginger. The finish is refreshing and moderate in length. Pair with spicy Thai drunken noodles with shrimp. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: Not for the faint of heart, this zippy Riesling is floral and weighted, with notes of freshly cut lime, white rose petals and a hint of fennel. With its racy verve, subtle complexity and just a tinge of sweetness, it's a perfect companion for both sweet and spicy dishes...or simply on its own.
