Wine Review: This opaque and very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with kirsch (cherry brandy) and green pepper like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, richly textured and fruit forward. The flavor profile is tart black cherry and red currant blend with notes of minerality and oak. I also detected some hints of red plum, green pepper and thyme mixed in as well. The finish is mellow, and its flavors fade away nicely. This fruity Cab was well liked by those that tried it and would pair well with an orange-cranberry pork loin roast. Enjoy - Ken
