Wine Review: This deep yellow colored Chardonnay opens with a fragrant Pina colada bouquet with hints of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, slightly acidic and a little zesty. The flavor profile is a pineapple and pear blend with notes of nicely integrated minerality and oak. I also detected hints of mild butterscotch as well. The finish is dry and its flavors subtly drift away. This Chard is a rich style. As a result, I would pair it with lobster bisque with a splash of sherry. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Minerally richness accents the green apple, citrus, and gooseberry flavors, supported by zesty acidity. The savory finish is crunchy and features hints of anise.
