Wine Review: This bright straw-colored Chardonnay open with a very fragrant butterscotch and toasted oak bouquet with hints of ripe pear and grilled pineapple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and bright for a Chard. The flavor profile is a butterscotch and mineral blend with notes of new oak and Madagascar vanilla beans. I also detected hints of pineapple and poached pear in the background. The finish is dry, and its flavors linger and last for a while. This rich styled Chard would pair very nicely with a lobster roll. Enjoy – Ken
