Wine Review: This almost clear colored Auslese from Fritz Haag is Excellent! It opens with a musty wet stone bouquet with hints of lime and pear. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, smooth and silky. The flavor profile is a delicious pleasantly sweet mild lime and pineapple blend with wonderfully integrated acidity and hints of pear. The finish is nicely extended and lingers for a very long time. I would sip this gem on its own and savory every moment. Enjoy - Ken
