Wine Review: Fritz has produced another top scoring Chard. This yellow colored offering opens with an apple like bouquet with a hint of light oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very smooth, and creamy. Its flavor profile is a delicious toasty oak and ripe pear like flavors with a hint of cantaloupe. The finish is dry and nicely refreshing. This impressive Chard is a terrific food wine and pair perfectly with Legal’s halibut with imperial crab meat. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aged in 80% new French oak for 9 months this full bodied Chardonnay opens up with aromas of apricot, pineapple, candied apples and a subtle hint of vanilla bean. Rich in texture with balanced acidity this wine offers flavors of apricot, lemon cream pie and savory spices. The wine finishes with lingering creamy flavors.
