Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from Gary Farrell was well-received by our mini-tasting group. The wine opens with a very fragrant blueberry and black cherry cola bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is tasty black cherry, cola and black plum blend with nicely integrated oak. We also detected a hint of minerality and spice at the very end. The finish is dry and its well-managed tannins stick around for quite a while. The Panel suggested enjoying this gem on its own. Enjoy – KWGTP.

Winemaker Notes: This wine presents a wealth of rich black fruit and endless layers of blue velvet tones. Sweet cedar and a mélange of fresh and dried flowers add elements of intrigue and depth. The mouthfeel is firm, with a solid backbone of supple tannins and textural weight. Well integrated acidity, coupled with the decadent fruit profile and savory essence, create a lasting impression upon the senses.
