Wine Review: This clear and dark red colored Pinot Noir from Gary Farrell opens with a red cherry and herbal bouquet with hints of pomegranate, red plum, and leather. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, juicy, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is black plum and pomegranate blend with notes of tea and red raspberry. We also detected hints of craisin, sauteed mushroom and dried orange. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and mild dusty tannins drifts away nicely. We would pair this Pinot with steak carpaccio or with Manchego cheese. Enjoy - KWGTP
