Wine Review: This clear medium ruby colored Pinot Noir from Gary Farrell opens with a cranberry and cedar bouquet with hints of red cherry, hibiscus, and eucalyptus. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, mouthwatering, and fresh. The flavor profile is slightly tart pomegranate and craisin blend with notes of cedar and hibiscus tea. We also detected hints of stone dust, red cherry, and cinnamon tea. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and fine light tannins drift away quicky. We would pair this Pinot with blackened mahi-maki or with a duck cassoulet. Enjoy - KWGTP
