Wine Review: This opaque and deep dark red colored Shiraz from Gemtree is a very good value. On the nose, it displays ripe black raspberry and black cherry scents with a hint of oak and dark chocolate. On the palate, it is medium bodied and opens with a lush, mouth-coating pop of dark fruit and earthiness. We also detected a hint of bittersweet Baker's chocolate mixed in as well. The finish is dry and its slightly tart flavors linger for a bit. We think this Shiraz would pair well with Turkish dishes such as Tabbouleh and Lamb Kebabs. - Karen & Stuart
