Wine Review: The dark red colored Beaujolais opens with a fragrant black raspberry and potting soil bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and round. The flavor profile is a plum and oak blend with notes of minerality and raspberry. The finish is dry and its flavors and moderate tannins linger nicely. This Gamay would pair well with a juicy bacon burger. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The Georges Duboeuf Saint-Amour "Flower Label" boasts fragrances of kirsch and raspberry on the nose, with a seductive silky finish and notes of cinnamon and peach on the palate. This wine pairs well with rich foods, such as filet mignon, beef bourguignon and aged, hard cheeses.
