Wine Review: This young wine is a clear medium purple colored with a pink rim. There is pomegranate, strawberry bubble gum and violets in the bouquet. It is medium-minus bodied, with crisp medium-plus acidity; it is very approachable and not serious. There are flavors of maraschino cherry and raspberry, with some notes of minerality and gentle spice. The finish is dry and moderate in length and has a little bit of fine tannins. Roast a turkey and open a bottle of this good value Gamay. – Mark

Winemaker Notes: Vibrant red fruits such as strawberries and currants on the palate and an intense perfume make this wine a perfect accompaniment for cheese and charcuterie.
