Wine Review: This golden colored Malagousia from Greece is a new grape for me to cover. It opens with an interesting and fragrant floral bouquet with notes of lychee and hints of honey. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and round in the mouth. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced lychee and lemon. I also detected hints of peach and a touch of cantaloupe and honey. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for a very long time. Fans of Gewurztraminer will really like this wine. I would pair it with Asian cuisine. Cashew chicken came to mind first. Enjoy - Ken
