Wine Review: This white gold colored Sparkling Wine from South Africa is a good value. It opens with a musty green apple bouquet with hints of roasted nuts and lilac. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, bubbly and round. The flavor profile is a mineral infused mild ginger and lime with some bready and nutty flavors mixed in as well. The finish is dry and subtle. While this is not the most complex sparkler, it is pleasant and priced properly. The Panel suggested pairing this wine with a broiled scallops or sole with brown butter. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Light yeasty aromas and secondary tones of limey fresh fruit on the nose with rich creamy complexity on the palate. The exceptionally fine mousse contributes freshness and finesse.
