Wine Review: This vibrant and focused sparkler from Oregon is a light pink color with persistent small bubbles in the glass. It's a blend of mostly Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The bouquet includes red cherry, wet stone, toasted brioche, and light strawberry aromas. On the palate there is moderate froth, with steely plus acidity, a medium body and good balance. There are flavors of red raspberry, lime, and chalky minerality with hints of nectarine and pastry crust. The finish is dry and refreshing with lingering light minerality. This versatile sparkler would pair well with sauteed lump crab cakes and homemade remoulade. – Mark
