Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Greenwing opens with a cassis and blackberry bouquet with hints of dark chocolate, wet stone, and leather. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, fresh, and youthful. The flavor profile is red plum and blackberry blend with notes of milk chocolate and toasted coconut. We also detected hints of stony minerality and a touch black cherry at the very end. The finish is dry and its flavors, acidity, and dusty tannins build-up. We would pair this Washington state Cabernet Sauvignon with steak fajitas. Enjoy - Ken
