Wine Review: This clear ruby colored Pinot Noir from Gros Ventre opens with a shy black cherry and vanilla bouquet with hints of cola, oak, and red raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, smooth, and delicate. The flavor profile is tasty blackberry tea and black pepper blend with notes of stewed black plum and light oak. We also detected hints of raspberry, cola, and chalky minerality. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and mild polished tannins linger nicely. We would pair this food friendly Pinot with a grilled salmon or with Thai food. Enjoy - KWGTP
