Wine Review: This clear dark red colored Gamay from Gros Ventre opens with a red raspberry and rhubarb bouquet with hints of oolong tea. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and easy drinking. The flavor profile is red cherry with notes of red raspberry tea and red beet. We also detected hints of craisin. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and fine-grained mild tannins linger nicely. We would pair this Gamay with a pork roast. Enjoy - Ken & Dave

Winemaker Notes: Our first-ever Gamay blend, this wine has been in the making since we got our first couple of tons of Gamay in 2016. In this bottle comes together some of top Gamay vineyards in the state. (Barsotti, Las Cimas, and Nolan Ranch.) The resulting wine is bright, polished, pretty, and simply delicious. Look for red fruits and floral notes on the nose with lively natural acidity on the finish. We love this wine with food, especially when paired with duck confit, roasted chicken, or a winter salad. It's equally delightful by itself. It's easy and fun to drink. You can even enjoy it chilled.
