Wine Review: This opaque and dark ruby colored Syrah opens with fragrant blueberry bouquet with a hint of leather and black currant. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry with hints of smoky cedar, cocoa, and black currant and touch of bacon. The finish is dry and its moderate dusty tannins and fruit fade away nicely. This Syrah is very food friendly and would pair well with Theresa's meatloaf. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Made in the lineage of our stellar 2007 Estate Syrah, this wine opens with a nose of violets and sun ripened blueberry painted over a background of leather and nuanced spice. The mid-palate is supple and well structured, with a juiciness that envelopes the mouth yet remains delightfully soft. The finish is long, with well-developed tannins that ensure this wine will cellar for years to come.
