Wine Review: This light yellow colored Pinot Gris from Handley opens with a hint of Bosc pear with a hint of apricot. On the palate, this wine is light bodied and displays nicely balanced acidity. The flavor profile is a mineral infused Anjou pear with a hint of lime and ginger. The finish is dry and refreshing. While this Pinot Gris, is not overly complex, it is a pleasant summer wine. I would pair it with baked scrod. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This bright and lively wine encompass both stone fruit and tropical notes with aromas of peaches and tangerine with hints of daffodils and lemongrass. Mouthwatering flavors of both apricot and lime zest integrate with fleshy nectarine, peach pit, bees wax all punctuated with a crisp mineral finish. This crisp and refreshing wine pairs well with a variety of summer fair. Curried crab, roasted summer vegetables, mushroom risotto, or Moroccan chicken.
