Wine Review: This ruby colored fruit bomb from Hartford opens with a very fragrant boysenberry bouquet with a hint of black cherry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic, juicy and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a red currant and black raspberry blend with notes of black pepper and spice. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are slightly prolonged. The panel suggested pairing this wine with venison stew and a manchengo cheese platter by the fireplace. Enjoy – KWGTP
