Wine Review: This dark yellow colored white blend from Portugal is a serious wine. It opens with a very fragrant oak influenced Bartlett pear and orange bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, rich and flavorful. The flavor profile is an oak influenced Bosc pear with notes of toasted almonds and hints of white pepper. The finish is dry and some mineral notes show up along with the flavors in the end. This white blend is very rich. It would be a nice pairing with grilled Nova Scotia Halibut. Enjoy – Ken
