Wine Review: This clear and white gold colored Riesling from Hermann J. Wiemer opens with a white grapefruit and lime zest bouquet with hints of Vaseline and passionfruit. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, seamless and very fresh. The flavor profile is green apple and tonic water blend with notes of lemon tea and lime zest. I also detected hints of Bosc pear and minerality. The finish is on the dry side. Its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. I would pair this Riesling with Pam’s fluffy macaroons. Enjoy - Ken
