Wine Review: This light golden colored Chardonnay from Hess opens with a refreshing cantaloupe, light pineapple and vanilla bouquet. I also noted some hints of caramel and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, crisp and zesty. The flavor profile is lemon and lime blend with notes of green apple and light pineapple, I also detected hints of vanilla, oak, butter and light herbs mixed in. I enjoyed its moderate tannins and good structure that show up on a pleasant and extended full mouth finish. I would pair this Napa Valley Chardonnay with chicken Marsala. – Joe
