Wine Review: This Sauvignon Blanc from Hook & Ladder opens up with a bouquet of green tea, white grapefruit, lilacs, and hints of pineapple. On the palate, this wine's acid is immediately noticeable but in a refreshing way. As the acidity fades notes of passionfruit, gooseberry, and chamomile tea can be found. There is the slightest touch of mid-palate creaminess that gives this wine some additional weight. Paired with a grilled tuna steak, this wine would shine. – Nicolay
Winemaker Notes: Our 2019 Sauvignon Blanc shines with a pale lemon chiffon color and aromas of citrus and muskmelon. The palate offers full flavors of lime zest, passion fruit heightened by its lingering lychee, trace green apple finish.
