Wine Review: This white gold colored Semillon from Hope Estate is a terrific summer value wine. It opens with a lemon, grapefruit and ginger bouquet with hints of white peach and beeswax. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with pleasant zesty and crisp acidity. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced lemon-lime blend with hints of Honeydew melon, ginger, quinine and a touch of white pepper. The finish is dry and refreshing. This is an ideal wine to serve on a hot summer day. I would pair this very good Semillon with grilled swordfish skewers or oysters on half shell. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Bright, lively, green-tinged straw color. A focused, fresh citrus nose with lemon, lime, and green apple. It has a crisp tight style with a good balance of fruit to acidity, with some minerality.
