Wine Review: This dark pink colored wine made from Cabernet Franc grapes opens with a yellow grapefruit and nectarine pit bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with rounded edges and lively acidity. The flavor profile is a chalky mineral infused mild strawberry and Maraschino cherry blend with notes of nectarine and tangerine. I also detected a hint of yellow grapefruit in the aftertaste. The finish is dry and refreshing. This very good value Rose is affordable and a very nice summer option for the beach or pool. Serve slightly chilled with your favorite cheese and crackers.
