Wine Review: Can Feixes is another legacy winery when it comes to Cava. Almost single-handedly creating the premier category for Cava, Can Feixas Huguet hits all of the bullets for a top-tier sparkler. Starting with the finer bubbles and the bouquet of wildflowers. The palate is a harmonious blend of stone fruits like apples and peaches mixed with lime zest and hints of nutmeg. This is a rare breed for Huguet as it still needs time to settle even with 8 years already on the scorecard. Would pair well with some deep-fried soft-shelled crab. – Nicolay
