Wine Review: This translucent and ruby colored Chianti Classico opens with a cedar and cherry bouquet with hints of oolong tea. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, bright and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a cedar influenced cherry and graphite blend with notes of raspberry and red licorice. I also detected hints of black tea and black pepper. Theresa finish is dry, and its acidity, flavors and moderate dusty tannins are nicely extended. I would pair this wine with a short rib ragu and pasta. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Intense ruby red. The bouquet is complex and elegant with an explosion of ripe black cherries and small black berries. Very structured and complex. Great balance and an everlasting finish. Pair with lamb, beef, rack of deer or wild boar.
