Wine Review: This dark red colored Rosso di Montalcino opens with a leather, cured meat and cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. It is also savory and juicy as well. The flavor profile is a cedar influenced cherry with notes of cinnamon and salumi. I also detected hints of black tea and dried herbs in the background. The finish is dry, and its medium tannins stick around for quite some time. I would pair this Rosso with an antipasto or a charcuterie platter. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Intense ruby red color. Fruity bouquet with red berry notes. Very well structured, yet soft, long-lasting flavor with smooth, velvety tannins. Pair with meat sauce, roasted meats and medium strength cheeses.
