Wine Review: This deep gold Chardonnay from the Russian River Valley opens with a butterscotch, vanilla, and oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is rich and concentrated. The flavor profile is Bartlett pear and oak blend with notes of butterscotch and pineapple. I also detected hints of marzipan and mango. The finish is dry, and its flavors linger and last for quite some time. This Chard is a full-blown CA style. I would drink it on its own. Enjoy - Ken
