Wine Review: The 2017 Indaba Sauvignon Blanc from South Africa, is a really nice offering. It is straw colored and has lemon, hay, pineapple and matchstick on the nose. It is balanced, dry and round on the palate, with a medium body and bright acidity. The flavors of apple, grapefruit, minerality and a touch of green herbs are refreshing and last a moderate amount of time in the citrusy finish. This wine has enough structure and complexity to be sipped on its own on a summer day. It can also be paired with some crab cakes. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: Enticing citrus and tropical fruit aromas lead to fresh, zesty flavors of pineapple, lemon-lime, mango and green fig, supported by a spine of racy acidity. Herbal undertones shine through on the mineral-tinged finish.
