Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand is classically styled. It opens with a fragrant yellow grapefruit and gooseberry bouquet. On the palate this wine is light plus bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright and lively. The flavor profile is a tangy yellow grapefruit and chalky minerality with notes of nectarine pit and lime zest. I also detected some hints of ginger and a dash white pepper. The finish is quite refreshing. This Sauvignon Blanc would be a perfect pool or beach wine on a hot summer day. Serve it slightly chilled. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Pale lime to pale straw. An abundance of tropical fruit, including passionfruit pulp and honeydew, leap from the glass. The palate is as succulent as it is fresh—a fantastic reminder of the sheer enjoyment and liveliness this region can produce. Pair with ceviche, fresh oysters, or wild rice salad.
