Wine Review: This clear and very pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Infamous Goose opens with a fragrant gooseberry and white peach pit bouquet with hints of guava. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, bright, fresh and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is tart yellow grapefruit and lime zest blend with notes of saline and green bell pepper. I also detected hints of white peach pit and ginger. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely. I would pair this New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc with blackened mahi-mahi tacos with a pineapple corn salsa and a chipotle lime sauce.
