Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Syrah from the cool Yarra Valley opens with a mild blueberry and oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, smooth and silky. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry and plum blend with notes of gentle minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors, mild tannins and gentle acidity is nicely prolonged. While it is not overly complex, this Syrah is very quaffable and food friendly. I would pair it with a burger and friends. It will not last long. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Aromas of black peppercorns, cherries, tar and roses with a hint of allspice. The palate is earthy and luscious with flavors of cherry compote complemented by secondary mocha notes. A perfumed and versatile medium bodied Syrah that will continue to develop in the cellar for up to five years.
