Wine Review: This brick red colored Pinot Noir from the Central Otago region of New Zealand opens with a tart cherry and cedar bouquet with a hint of raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and friendly. The flavor profile is a red plum and cedar blend with notes of mild loam. I also detected some hints of light pomegranate and rhubarb towards the end. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity and moderate dusty tannins are nicely sustained. This very approachable Pinot is a very good value. I would pair it with a salmon burger. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: A vibrant bouquet loaded with red and blue fruits, savory spices, and dried flowers. The palate delivers juicy black cherry and wild black berry flavors with an intriguing earthy undertone. The wine has a lovely weight and texture with polished, structured tannins and vibrant natural acidity.
