Wine Review: This clear dark red colored Pinot Noir from Innumero opens with an inviting teaberry gum and black cherry-cola bouquet with hints of oak, sandalwood, and wild strawberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, silky, smooth, and suave. The flavor profile is a tasty black plum and mild black raspberry blend with notes of stony minerality and cinnamon. We also detected hints of black pepper, clove, and mint. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate dusty tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this Pinot with Emeril’s duck and andouille sausage gumbo. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This wine is a joy to make. Blending and choosing our favorite barrels is a very fulfilling exercise for us and the resulting wine is always a favorite to drink. Aromas of a mid-summer flower garden, oven roasted strawberries, Maine dried blueberries and a hint of white pepper, sandalwood, and dried orange rind. The palate is big and bold with juicy black and red berry notes on the front, medium bodied tannins on the mid palate and a beautiful finish that lingers on the palate.
