Wine Review: This slightly hazy pale red colored Pinot Noir from Innumero opens with a pomegranate and rhubarb bouquet with hints of strawberry and mild cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with nicely integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is focused, round, fresh and savory. The flavor profile is a red plum and loam blend with notes of cedar and pomegranate. We also detected hints of stony minerality, black pepper, green tea, and some orange zest at the very end. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and fine tannins linger nicely before fading away. We would pair this Pinot with grilled salmon or a watermelon feta salad. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The Little Boot Vineyard Pinot Noir is a vibrant and expressive take on the Calera clone. The nose bursts with bright cherry, cranberry, red currants, wild raspberries, and floral notes of red and pink petals, accented by a hint of holiday spice. On the palate, high-toned red fruit, and orange citrus zest dance with lively acidity and just a whisper of tannin. The finish is beautifully balanced, making this wine irresistible now, with the promise of even greater elegance as it ages.
