Wine Review: This Blanc de Blancs from Iron Horse opens with many fine streaming bubbles. The bouquet features ginger ale, almond, and sourdough bread with hints of peach pit. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is pleasantly frothy. The flavor profile is a lime zest, oolong tea, and white pepper blend with notes of Anjou pear and almond. We also detected hints of green apple peel. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for quite some time. We would pair this sophisticated Sparkler with trout almondine or seared scallops. Enjoy – Ken & Mark
Winemaker Notes: Elegant, vibrant, and ultra dry, this vintage opens with delicate white florals, followed by a thread of bright melon that brings both generosity and lift. Green apple and citrus add snap and precision. On the palate, the acidity is poised and lively. The finish is long and refined, carrying forward with the effortless grace of a horse in full stride.
