Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Oregon opens with a very inviting Teaberry gum bouquet with hints of musty oak and black cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty spiced plum and black cherry blend with notes of gentle chalky minerality, strawberry, and teaberry gum. I also detected some hints of RC cola towards the very end. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Pinot is a crowd-pleasing style and quite food friendly. I would pair it with veal medallions with mushroom-wine sauce. Enjoy - Ken
