Wine Review: In the glass, this brilliant, clear medium ruby colored Pinot Noir from Monterey County shows aromas of dried strawberry, candied raspberry, bramble, and a touch of clove. Medium-minus body with medium acidity on the palate; it's balanced, silky smooth, approachable, and clean. Flavors of black raspberry and pomegranate fruit, clove, cedar, green tea, and mild minerality with notes of cinnamon and loam. Light tannins in the dry finish with a lingering spiciness. Open a bottle to elevate a weeknight dinner of store-bought rotisserie chicken. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: Showcases the spicy strawberry character that is a hallmark of Pinot Noir from Monterey. Bright berry and watermelon notes meld with clove and sagebrush on the nose.
