Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Pinot Gris is a real crowd pleaser. It opens with an attractive lime and wet stone like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and shows very nice acidity. The flavor profile is a very tasty light lime with gentle mineral notes mixed in. The finish is dry and very refreshing. Our group could envision this wine pairing well with grilled halibut. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2008 J Pinot Gris Russian River Valley has an enticing bouquet of white peach, orange blossom and honeysuckle, with hints of mango and jasmine. The soft entry and velvety mouthfeel unfold into flavors of sweet summer melon and Meyer lemon cream. There is a hint of honey on the palette that complements the fruit and acid nicely. This well-balanced, multi-layered wine is a great companion to a variety of foods, from spicy Thai cuisine to Thanksgiving Dinner, as well as a beautiful stand-alone summer sipper.
