Wine Review: This bright red colored Pinot Noir from J Vineyards opens with a fragrant pomegranate and rose bud like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a cherry and red raspberry blend with mild oak in the background. I also detected a hint of minerality, cola and a dash of black pepper mixed in as well. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for a surprisingly long time. This Pinot is food friendly and would pair nicely with grilled pork tenderloin. Enjoy – Ken
