Wine Review: This pale straw colored sparkler from J Vineyards is very good and will be a crowd pleaser at your holiday parties. It opens with a bread dough bouquet with hints of lemon meringue. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, acidic, crisp and pleasant. The flavor profile is a tasty mineral infused pear with hints of lemon and apple. The finish is dry and its flavors linger for quite some time. This sparkler would pair very well with spring rolls. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Our J "Cuvee 20 Brut" gracefully opens up with the crisp, clean allure of crushed hazelnut and ripe apricot aromas. Upon entry, you notice a delicate tickle of fresh mousse on the nose and palate. The acidity adds to the liveliness and the lemon lime zest leads to lingering flavors of sweet Asian pears. This is the perfect wine to share and pair during special gatherings. Serve with sea scallops in a citrus-based sauce, or a mixed greens salad topped with toasted nuts and drizzled with a light vinaigrette dressing. It’s also great with air-popped popcorn sprinkled with parmesan cheese.
