Wine Review: This sparkler was consumed over the course of two evenings with very similar notes for both nights. Looking through the flute this sparkler had a red grapefruit color that is quite pretty when held up to the light. The bubbles rise non-stop and even in the mouth seem to consistently massage the palate. On the nose, hints of strawberries, star anise, and lemon zest. The palate was more fine-tuned focusing on more refreshing flavors like watermelon, lemon zest, freshly picked strawberries and the slightest touch of lemongrass. Although packed with upfront flavors, the flavors didn't last as long as I would have hoped on the finish. Still a wonderful effort by the J Vineyards winemaking team that would show exceptionally well with a fruit salad. - Nicolay

Winemaker Notes: Our J Brut Rose sparkles with a vibrant, pink salmon hue and inviting aromas of jasmine blossom, Kaffir lime leaf, tangerine and raspberry. The mouthfeel is creamy and delicate, with a fine, energetic mousse that tickles the tongue. The deeply nuanced palate features notes of ripe strawberry, Bing cherry, blood orange and lemon meringue, with hints of slivered almond and watermelon juice. Pair this lively sparkling Rosé with tuna or grilled prawns.
