Wine Review: This pitch-black colored Cabernet Sauvignon blend from Jambe de Bois opens with a black currant and wet stone bouquet with hints of mild black licorice, blackberry, and rose petals. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, supple, plush, and concentrated. The flavor profile is an expressive black currant and graphite blend with notes of black plum and toasted cedar. We also detected hints of licorice, tobacco, and menthol. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and its grippy tannins build-up and are nicely sustained. We would pair this Cab with a well-marbled ribeye Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The Moon Mountain Cabernet is made from organic grapes of the Moonridge vineyard high in the Mayacamas Mountains in Sonoma Valley. The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is full-bodied but has great acidity with refined tannins, and a long, graceful finish.
