Wine Review: This clear and ruby red colored Mourvèdre based blend from Jambe de Bois opens with a mild lingonberry and red currant bouquet with hints of red plum and rose petals. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, slightly mouthwatering, and very approachable. The flavor profile is a tasty mild lingonberry and cinnamon tea blend with notes of red plum and stony minerality. We also detected hints of hint of red licorice and yellow bell pepper. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and mild fine tannins fade away nicely. We would quaff this red blend slightly chilled on a hot summer day. With food we would pair it with salmon sushi or with seared tuna. Enjoy - KWGTP
